Corrosion conditions of stainless steel sheet
1. The corrosion resistance of the stainless steel sheet mainly depends on its alloy composition (chromium, nickel, titanium, silicon, aluminum, manganese, etc.) and internal organizational structure, is a chromium element plays the leading role. Chromium has the very high chemical stability, can be formed in the steel surface passivation membrane, metal and isolated, protect steel from oxidation, increase the corrosion resistance of stainless steel sheet. After passivation membrane damage, corrosion resistance is decreased.
